Retreat Terms & Conditions
PAYMENT
All payments must be made in Pound Sterling (GBP) via the booking link on the retreat page unless otherwise agreed.
Early Bird pricing is valid until 1st August 2026. From 2nd August 2026, retreat prices will increase.
Guests may choose between the following payment options:
Option One - Deposit + Final Balance
A non-refundable deposit of £400 is required to secure your place on the retreat. The remaining balance must be paid in full by 5th January 2027.
If the remaining balance is not received by this date, Of This Body Retreats reserves the right to cancel your booking and offer your place to another guest. Your deposit will not be refunded.
Once the final balance has been paid, all payments become non-refundable and non-transferable.
Option Two - 4-Month Installment Plan
Guests may choose to split the retreat cost across four installments. The first installment secures your place on the retreat. Remaining payments are due in:
- 5th September 2026
- 5th November 2026
- 5th January 2027
All installment payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. The full retreat balance must be completed by 5th January 2027. If any scheduled payment is not received within 7 days of the due date, Of This Body Retreats reserves the right to release your place and offer it to another guest. Any payments already made will not be refunded.

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE
Full arrival details, check-in information and travel guidance will be shared after booking.
VISAS & PASSPORTS
Please check Sri Lanka’s visa requirements ahead of travelling to ensure you have the correct documents ready prior to travel. This is entirely your responsibility.
GUEST CANCELLATION POLICY
If you need to cancel your retreat booking, please notify Of This Body Retreats via email as soon as possible.
Deposit + Final Balance Option
The £400 deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances. If cancellation occurs before 5th January 2027, payments made beyond the deposit may be refunded if your place can be filled by another guest. If cancellation occurs after 5th January 2027, the full retreat balance is non-refundable.
Installment Plan Option
If you choose the installment payment option, all payments made are non-refundable and non-transferable, including the initial payment. Missed payments are treated as a cancellation by the participant. If a scheduled payment is not received within 7 days of the due date, your place may be released and offered to another guest. Any payments already made will not be refunded.
This applies regardless of the reason for cancellation or non-payment.
In some cases, Of This Body Retreats may assist in finding another guest to take your place, but this cannot be guaranteed. If a replacement guest is found, payments made beyond the initial non-refundable amount may be refunded at the discretion of Of This Body Retreats.
If you choose to leave the retreat early for any reason, no refunds will be issued.
TRIP CHANGES OR CANCELLATIONS
Occasionally it may be necessary to make minor adjustments to the retreat schedule, including class times or activities. Of This Body Retreats reserves the right to make such changes where required.
In the unlikely event that the retreat must be cancelled, you will be offered either:
- a transfer to a future retreat, or
- a refund of payments made to Of This Body Retreats.
Refunds are limited to the amount paid to Of This Body Retreats and do not include external costs such as flights, travel arrangements, visas, or other personal expenses.
Of This Body Retreats reserves the right to cancel the retreat up to 10 weeks prior to the retreat start date in rare cases such as low guest numbers or venue issues.
FORCE MAJEURE
Of This Body Retreats cannot be held responsible for circumstances beyond reasonable control that prevent the retreat from taking place.
This may include but is not limited to:
- natural disasters
- war or political unrest
- Pandemics
- travel restrictions
- venue closures
- extreme weather
In these situations, refunds will depend on costs that can be recovered from the retreat venue or suppliers.
TRAVEL INSURANCE (REQUIRED)
All participants must hold valid travel insurance covering:
- Trip cancellation or interruption
- Flight disruption
- Illness or injury
- Travel delays
- Medical treatment abroad
- Participation in yoga and retreat activities
Of This Body Retreats cannot be held responsible for any losses resulting from travel disruption, personal injuries, illness, cancellation or other personal circumstances preventing attendance.
HEALTH & PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY
By attending the retreat, you confirm that:
- You are physically and mentally able to participate in yoga and retreat activities.
- You take full responsibility for listening to your body and modifying practices where needed.
- You have consulted a medical professional if required.
Please inform the retreat host of any relevant health conditions before arrival.
Participation in all activities is voluntary and undertaken at your own risk.
If you are pregnant, you participate at your own discretion and must inform the retreat host prior to attending.
LIABILITY WAIVER
By participating in the retreat, you acknowledge that yoga and movement practices involve physical activity which carries a risk of injury.
You accept full responsibility for your participation and agree that Of This Body Retreats, its teachers, staff and partners cannot be held liable for any injuries, illness, loss, damages or expenses incurred during or as a result of the retreat.
Guests are responsible for their personal belongings at all times.
CONDUCT
To maintain a safe and supportive environment for all participants, Of This Body Retreats reserves the right to remove any guest whose behaviour is disruptive or harmful to the group.
In such cases, no refund will be issued.
PHOTOGRAPHY
Occasionally photographs or short videos may be taken during retreats for marketing or documentation purposes.
Guests will always be informed and may opt out if they prefer not to appear in any images.
